I am President of Great Legal Marketing and a partner at BenGlassLaw, where I lead the personal injury division. I am a trial lawyer with more than 20 years of experience, and I could have gone anywhere. I chose to build inside the family firm and to teach what works, because I saw the same thing my father saw: most lawyers are great at the law and undertrained at the business of running a practice.
In 2022 I secured a $4.24M verdict in Fairfax County — including $1M in punitive damages, the largest punitive DUI award in Virginia history.
I host the Life Beyond the Briefs podcast, I have been featured in Forbes, and I marketed that trial practice the GLM way — on relationships and referrals, not on outspending the billboard firms.
Away from the courtroom, I am an ultra-marathoner — I completed the Umstead 100-mile race in 23:18:25 — and I coach my sons’ soccer and baseball. My mission is to help lawyers build practices that make them heroes to their families and icons in their communities.
